LEAGUE OF LEGENDS – CHAMPIONS
Whenever Jarvan III, the king of Demacia, delivers one of his rallying speeches from the glinting marble balcony atop the Royal Palace, Xin Zhao is at his side. Coined the Seneschal of Demacia, Xin Zhao is the personal steward of the Lightshield Dynasty. His enigmatic, silent vigil has led to an abundance of conjecture concerning his "secret life" and origins. Whether it's "Zaun double-agent" tendered at the dinner table or "indebted rune ...
“Beware the Madman of Zaun. In his eyes, you are already dead.”
It is said that the man now known as Dr. Mundo was born without any sort of conscience. Instead, he had an unquenchable desire to inflict pain through experimentation. By the time he was five, most of the pets in the Zaun neighborhood where Mundo grew up had gone missing. By his teenage years, his parents were nowhere to be found. By the time he had legally acquired his license to practice ...
“The bigger the risk, the bigger the bounty.”
Beauty and danger: There are few who can match Miss Fortune in either. One of Bilgewater's most infamous bounty hunters, she built her legend upon a swathe of bullet-riddled corpses and captured ne’er-do-wells. The booming echoes of her twin pistols in the port city’s reeking wharfs and scavenger shanties are sure signs of another warrant from the Bounty Board being settled.

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS – SKINS
iBlitzcrank is without doubt a skin with a well defined and unique character.
The hi-tech android feel is perfectly conveyed through the new model, particles, animations and sounds.
Not everything is changed but what is looks great.
The model is polished and streamlined making Blitzcrank look not only futuristic but also effective.
The additional changes reinforce this, especially how he powers down when dying.
Unfortunately, Rocket Grab seems a little too ...
Abyssal Nautilus’ model is quite well done with a distinctly antique style reinforced by the engraved decoration.
Besides, the textures give the suit a fitting worn aspect.
The design is rather reasonable but if one is to take a closer look there seems to be a useless tube on the left on the tank.
Furthermore, the helmet top looks impractical just as the needless periscope.
Even the sad eyes may be questionable and the turned-off lights let ...
As a hulking minotaur the armour displayed by Marauder Alistar reinforces his impactful presence.
The arms incorporate small shields on the vambraces and the helmet goes as far as to cover his horns.
Without a doubt, Alistar becomes impenetrable and a force to be respected.
The legs look serviceable and the fur merely decorative but they add up to define a clear minotaur silhouette.
To a point, it reminds of his Infernal skin but with more emphasis on metal and ...
Lil’ Slugger Trundle is a simple but nice skin.
The concept is a good fit but doesn’t impress either.
The clothes are reasonable and colourful while the club is polished and finished with nails.
Maybe the nails are to echo the brutality of Trundle’s features and manners but they actually detract from an otherwise clean look; like the holes on the shirt.
Moreover, Trundle’s ice abilities remain intact and even if the new Pillar of Ice is a good touch the ...
Apocalyptic Brand has a promising concept but a questionable execution.
The clothes are uninspired but technically correct so as to resemble an inhabitant of a wasteland.
In addition to this, his forearms are armed with flamethrowers which try to detach the fire from his self.
However, his head still burns so while the flames on his hands can be explained he doesn’t come across as a mutated human in the end.
Therefore, the skin aims to make turn him into a ...
For all intents and purposes this is a re-model of Swain that puts him in an elegant uniform that almost completely covers him.
While the clothing doesn’t impress, it is realistic: it avoids exaggerations while remaining practical and believable as warm clothes.
Beatrice’s model is nicely done but unfortunately Swain’s abilities still show her classic self.
In addition to this, Swain’s raven form get’s new light textures that let the surface of the feathers be ...
Jurassic Cho’Gath is a skin that has two contradictory ideas working together.
On the one hand, what could be more fearsome than a deadly monster that has attained un-dead life? On the other hand, regardless of how huge Cho’Gath gets he still is a sack of bones instead of a massive embodiment of destruction.
The bones are nicely shaped, show cracks and dents plus convincing consistency despite the whimsical structure.
However, they lack the necessary bulk to make the ...
At first sight, PROJECT: Leona looks more like a heavily armoured warrior than a cyborg.
That suits her well as she’s known for her preference for good protection; at her service and others.
In that regard, the new model preserves her core while communicating the cybernetic theme effectively.
In particular, the transparent blade and shield wings are a great touch to make the theme clear and also visually appealing.
The added glow is icing on a fine cake. The ...
Mafia Jinx adopts a different angle to transport a champion into the 1920’s.
Instead of going straight to the underground of the Prohibition Era it switches towards the trendy Roaring Twenties.
The flapper style is refreshing and also allows for a more playful style that fits such a liberal approach to life.
The model looks a bit flat in terms of textures but the modelled elements are correct.
The pearl necklace could have been longer and worn with several loops ...
Emerald Taric is quite simple about its concept and it’s execution follows suit.
A few textures change the colours so that Taric is geared in green metal and emeralds.
At least the skin knows moderation and not all elements are re-painted; like the chainmail.
Still, the look seems a bit monotonous and isn’t very different from his classic style.
On the whole, it isn’t a bad re-texture but it isn’t remarkable either.
It’s probably better left to ...
